Before we talk about coaching methods, let's talk about the cognitive Number List process of learning. Because only by understanding how people learn and cognition can we better implement counseling and achieve a better effect.
cognitive learning model
The above is the famous Bloom's cognitive process dimensional model. The human cognitive process goes through:
Memory - remembering material learned, including recall of specific facts, methods, processes, etc.;
Comprehension - comprehending the meaning of the material being learned, but not necessarily relating it to other things;
Application - the ability to apply learned concepts, rules, etc. to new situations;
Analysis - breaking down a monolithic material into its constituent components and understanding its organizational structure;
Evaluation - the ability to make value judgments on materials, including by intrinsic or extrinsic criteria of the material;
Creation - Integrating the learned bits and pieces into a knowledge system, emphasizing the ability to create, needs to generate new patterns or structures.
Memory is a low-level cognition. If he only relies on memory to learn a certain aspect of knowledge, he will inevitably have limitations in his cognition of the profound meaning behind it.
Only through multi-faceted and various forms of learning, experience, and application can we master a thing. Through knowledge-based learning, understand the basic principles, through experiential learning methods, and through exploration and operation to allow learners to further " remember and understand ", through the analysis of personal practice and application to " understand " and " analysis ", and propose new application directions and goals, challenge to " create ", multi-dimensional and multi-level cognition, so that learners can have a deeper analysis of knowledge.
The following two training methods are introduced: EDAC training technology, coach-style coaching groove. Below we discuss these two coaching training techniques in detail.
1. EDAC training technology
The purpose of training is to transform the ability of the trainer into the ability of the trainee as much as possible. The way of human cognitive learning and memory can be simplified as shown in the following figure:
This rule needs to be followed during training. The above-mentioned creation and evaluation are generally not used as the purpose of training, because creation requires a deep mastery of knowledge and skilled use to trigger it. The training generally hopes to achieve memory, understanding, application, and analysis, which corresponds to the four steps of training: explanation, demonstration, trial, and exam consolidation.
